Eligibility Criteria for PMRF Scheme

For Lateral Entry:

  • You must be pursuing a Ph.D. at a university that offers PMRF.
  • If you have a Master’s Degree, you should have completed 12 months of your Ph.D. For undergrads with Ph.D. courses, it’s 24 months.
  • You must have a CGPA of 8.5 or higher and have studied at least 4 subjects in your Ph.D.
  • Your research proposal and publication record should be impressive.

For Direct Entry:

  • You must have cleared the GATE and be pursuing or have completed MS/M.Tech by research at a PMRF-recognized institution.
  • Score at least 8.0 CPI or CGPA out of 10 by the end of your first semester.
  • Your research, publications, recommendations, and grades matter.

Application Fee
